How to Book an LPG Gas Refill in Meerut?
- Through the mobile app of your vendor’s: Download your vendor’s mobile app from the Play Store or iOS App Store. Register and fill in the required details including your consumer number, mobile number, name and other key details. After signing in, head to the booking menu, where you can book a cylinder, check the delivery status along with other services provided on the platform.
- By SMS: Send an SMS from your Registered Mobile Number to your state-specific IVRS number. You will get a message from the vendor to choose the service you require. Choose “Book a Cylinder” and then send the confirmation message. You will receive a message regarding the successful booking of your LPG gas cylinder.
- Umang Mobile App: Download the app from Play Store or iOS App Store. Register on the app using your mobile number. Select your service provider and choose the “Refill” option. Your LPG Gas cylinder will be booked after you tap on the Confirm button.
- PayTM: On the Paytm app, open the “Gas Booking” section. Fill in your customer id and select your vendor. Click on proceed and complete the payment. After the successful payment, you will receive a confirmation message regarding the successful booking of your LPG Gas cylinder.
- WhatsApp: Type “Book” and send it to the number specified by your vendor for booking an LPG gas cylinder through Whatsapp.
- Missed Call: Give a call on the number specified by your vendor from your registered mobile number. Submit your vendor’s contact number and your customer id. Confirm your LPG Gas cylinder booking. You will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number regarding the successful booking of your LPG gas cylinder.

Through IVRS (Automated Call)
The IVRS facility is available to you 24/7. You can easily check the status of your booking and estimated delivery date by calling the number mentioned on your customer booklet. This facility is usually available in all regional languages. Once the call connects an automated voice will instruct you to type your customer id, do so, and the computerised voice will provide you with the information required.
Through Mobile Application
All major LPG gas vendors have a mobile application downloaded from the play store and the iOS app store. Once you have registered, using the customer id and your registered mobile number, go to the booking section in the app and check the status of your booking and the estimated delivery time and date.
Through Customer Care
All major LPG vendors like Indane, HP and Bharat Gas provide a toll-free customer care number. After calling the customer care number, which can be found in your booklet, wait till you get connected to a service executive and then provide them with your consumer number, distributor’s name, location and your booking reference number. The customer executives will assist you and answer all your questions.

How to Avail a Gas Connection Under PMUY Scheme
Under PMUY Scheme, people eligible for a gas connection are SC/STs beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana(PMAY), Forest dwellers, MBC’s (Most Backward Classes), people residing in Islands and River Islands. The gas connection is issued in the name of the female member of the household. The government also provides financial help of Rs. 1600 along with the gas connection.
