Pay Matrix Table

The Seventh Pay Commission met with stakeholders, to hear their requests including the rationalisation of the existing pay structure, expected salary of entrance staff and a transparent pay structure which were satisfied by the commission.

The 7th pay Commission has designed the new pay matrix keeping in mind the new opportunities that have emerged in the last three decades, causing greater competition in human resources and the demand to attract and retain talented people.

The Pay Matrix is a basic table that is also predictable, straightforward and easy to understand. The stakeholders were able to communicate with the 7th Pay Commission regarding their demands which were different from the standard treatment of similar executives, expected pay to entry-level employees, a transparent salary structure and a streamlined current grade pay structure were the kind of queries that were discussed.

After the 7th pay commission, how to calculate salaries? Total Basic pay + Dearness allocation + House rental allocation + Transportation allocation + Other Allowances and incentives are a monthly gross salary for government workers in India.
