As the price of global crude oil is dropping continuously, the Indian Oil Marketing Companies also trimmed the prices of Petrol and Diesel in the country.
“Since the above price revision, international prices of both Petrol and Diesel have continued to be on a downtrend and the INR-USD exchange rate has appreciated. The combined impact of both these factors warrant a decrease in Retail Selling Prices of both Petrol and Diesel.” the Indian Oil Corporation said in a statement.
By 14 Sep 2020, in the national capital, petrol prices slashed down to ₹ 81.51 per litre, from ₹ 81.72 per litre, after a price cut of 21 paise. On the other hand, diesel prices reduced to ₹ 72.56 per litre, from ₹ 72.78 per litre, after a price cut of 22 paise.
Today’s Petrol price in Delhi is Rs. 81.06 per litre.
