Small-sized mutual funds have not attracted the attention they deserve despite churning out good returns. In fact, instead of purchasing them, investors have moved out of these mutual funds over the past 3 years.
A study by Economics Times shows that 10 small-sized funds have given average returns of 10.6% in the past years. These money-spinners are large-cap and multi-cap schemes that are highly rated by Value Research.
“Most of the Investors like to run with the crowd and very few of them want schemes from lesser-known fund houses,” says Vidya Bala, head of mutual fund research at Fundsindia.com.
