Paytm to launch new services
The online payment gateway company, Paytm, has introduced a new service on its platform called the ‘Postpaid Mini’ which will offer small-ticket instant loans. This feature is part of Paytm’s ‘Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services aiming to help users manage their monthly household expenses. It is an additional service that offers customers instant credit like the existing ‘Postpaid’ feature.
It intends to provide increased flexibility to users by granting access to small loans ranging from Rs.250 to Rs.1,000. It can be wielded for several purposes like mobile and DTH recharges, utility bill payment, gas cylinder booking and other monthly expenses.
Postpaid Mini offers customers a 30-day replacement window with a 0% rate of interest on the loans. Apart from a nominal convenience fee, there are no additional activation charges or annual fees while availing of this service.
This service has been launched by Paytm in partnership with Aditya Birla Finance Ltd. According to a press release by the company, customers can make use of this feature across internet apps, chain outlets, pharmacies, petrol pumps, retail destinations as well as Kirana stores.
